About Carling Council

The municipality of Carling is governed by a council of five elected members, four councillors and a mayor. For the past two four-year terms, our council has been represented by the same mayor, Mike Konoval, and the same three of four councillors.

How to Vote

Each of the four councillor seats is “at large” as is the mayor’s seat, meaning each council member represents the whole of Carling and therefore you are entitled to cast a ballot for any and all seats. However, it is not mandatory that you cast a ballot for every seat. You can vote for one councillor, two or three, or all four or for the mayor only.

Keep in mind that votes for candidates other than your most preferred will work against your preferred candidate(s). So, if you only wish to support three candidates, you should only vote for those three.
