The candidates

Nominations closed on 21 August 2026. Nine names are on the ballot: three for mayor and six for council. Every candidate was asked for a biography and for answers to the same two questions.

What arrived varied. Some candidates sent a biography and separate answers. Some sent a single profile or statement covering everything. We publish what each candidate sent, exactly as it was sent, with no editing on our part.
